Lewis didn't break any rules when he changed his mind on honoring his word. Breaking the warrior's code through betraying you're own promise, isn't illegal.

I just wouldn't want to be in Lewis' shoes after all these years, after having left Vital to stew over a questionable loss and having his right to vengeance denied. All that rage and frustration built up inside his fists, is one of the reasons why Vitali chose to keep battling on even after retirement. He needed to channel that energy.

Compared to Lewis, who decided to begin taking the easy way out in every aspect of life after he walked away from the rematch. Their mentalities couldn't be anymore different.

Lewis wanted the easy life, content living on a nice warm Caribbean island, with his feet up in a nice warm cosy villa, with his nice warm slippers, nice warm food served off the hot stove, while staring watching sunsets from the warm beach, with no worries at all.

Vitali never stopped fighting. Taking the easy way out was never a question he asked himself. He stood up and decided to lead his Country out through the heart of war and chaos in the Cold.

Scenes of Vitali being attacked by bombs, surrounded by enemies and sprayed with nitrogen gas and still standing tall to continue leading armies of men into battle with his country's flag draped over his shoulders and standing side by side with them. There's a reason why this man had never ever touched the canvas in Boxing.

Really I'm surprised he's accepted this deal as he had many multi million $$$$ offers to come back over the years.

He's the only one who stood up to the powers which inspired many others to join him in his march against Corruption.
