Dubble really tried to convince us in this thread that DeJesus was on the same level as Paul Spadafora...

In fairness to Mancini and he rarely gets treated fair on here he was burnt out by the Bramble fights and never recovered from the Kim tragedy. In actuality he still hasnt!!!
Mancini gets crucified on here and I dont know why. The man was in shape gave it his all fan friendly and treated his fans with respect. He gave it 100%

I must take you to task on this.

What guy who didn't hit particularly hard overwhelmed and shutout a prime 135. Lb Esteban DeJesus? Duran didn't even shut him out
Mamby and Cervantes overwhelmed him at 140 lbs in title fights but they were defending titlist fighting a natural 135 pounded who was moving up.

And their styles were nothing like Mancinis.

So the cliche that styles make fights would not be applicable to this case.

His quality of opposition was poor when he was 135 Lb champ and he still struggled mightily. Mancini made Kim look better than he was.

I don't dispute he was exciting and had A big heart.

But there are a plethora of 135 Lb champs with the attributes to beat him and DeJesus is one. He
