Herrol you'd be a tidy poster if not for your deranged support of fighter A and dislike for fighter B , to tell the truth mate I was acting in a similar way during Joe's career whenever anyone knocked the lad but over the years since his retirement I've realised quiet a few of some posters comments were warranted , all in all regarding Carl Froch I enjoyed his career as a boxer a heap but now see this problem he has with Joe as a kin to that Ken had with Roberto ( apart from the fact they actually fought each other) as a fan of Joe's it's a shame he never fought Carl but Carl needs to realise Joe had way bigger fi$$$$h to fry at the end of his career than fight a THEN European level fighter . All in all I hope Carl learns to enjoy his retirement and the lifestyle he now has as Joe has been doing for the last 10 years or so . Go easy mate and enjoy the fights aye .

 

Carl faced a prime Andre Ward. A far better test than any Joe ever undertook.

The common theme with Joe's opponents is that they never went on to achieve anything of note after Joe fought them. RJJ was shot, Eubank literally never won another fight, I could go on.

The one good win by Joe was legit. Kessler was a solid fighter. Of course he also lost to Ward just a bit later before splitting with Joe, but Joe got him first.

 

its good that you might think a shot roy jones was bigger fish to fry.

but i agree of course that 40something hopkins was still world class and therefore worth a world class bout rather than the elite level that froch proved with the taylor and pascal bouts fought during joes jones/hopkins bouts.

BTW Erroll Carl went life and death with Jean and was getting his anus handed to him by a shot to **** fat Jermain Taylor for 11 rounds and 90 seconds until he threw his one hell of a Hail Mary to get the stoppage , I would imagine 99.9 % of boxing fans would see that specific fight that way also......any one going down the disagree road here ? ( apart from Herrol who is apparently a G ) ?
