It was the wrong word but the right sentiment.

Whyte went for it against AJ and he got KTFO but he threw punches and even wobbled AJ.

Parker didn't go for it against AJ, he was happy to go the distance and be the first man to take AJ the distance, he was a content loser.

Parker didn't display a "win at all costs" attitude and that what Whyte was trying to get at in my opinion.

Whyte said he respected Parker, then when he was questioned about the coward comment by Johnny Nelson and then saying he respects Parker.. Whyte then said he can respect a coward.

Contradictory to be honest but Whyte didn't want to take back the coward comment, he obviously wanted a reaction from Parker but didn't get one.

But like I say, I think it was more about not giving his all, going for broke against AJ and being safety first and not really about Parker being an actual coward.

Don't like it. You don't call an opponent a coward unless you have a good reason to. Parker might have fought the wrong fight against Joshua and was too conservative, but you don't call the man a coward.

I think this comes to bite Whyte badly on the ass during the fight. I think Parker will come to fight, and even if this is Whyte's plan, I think Parker takes him by late stoppage.

I think this is the wrong gameplan by Whyte. I think his big chance was if Parker came in conservative once more.

wrong word to use but I think we all know what he was trying to get at, also maybe he used "coward" to try and get a reaction.

really is a "pick 'em" fight in every way, can't wait for this one.

Parker's stock has dropped every fight since Ruiz jr. Whyte's has never been much to begin with.

Its all part of the fight. Whyte knows Parker is a better Boxer than he is, Whyte needs Parker to forget his Boxing skills and go to war with him. So call him a coward for not trying to go to war with AJ.

Since Takam for me actually. But still in a pretty weak division Parker might be top 5 and awful fighters like Miller and Whyte also might be considered in top 10-15 even if they are awful.

Still think that most fighters in the HW division should drop down to 220-230 lbs especially those that arent 6`6 and more. Most of the fighters are in awful shape even at the age of 25-30.

Anyway Whyte was trying to say that Parker was too cautious and Parker himself admitted that so no drama here.Parker is fighting too cautious and way too predictable offensively since Takam fight. Its boring as hell to watch.

no idea in other countries, but the only way to become a talked about athlete in the United States, is to run that mouth.

And isn't that a pathetic state of affairs? I don't believe it is a US only thing either. You see it in all countries and it is a symptom of the theory that "being talked about", irrespective of how stupid/moronic the words being spoken, is better than keeping quiet.

People try to copy the antics of Muhammad Ali, however, they are less witty and generally come of just sounding dumb.

Whyte always looks so confused all the time. Chump doesn't seem to know what he's saying. I don't see much animosity between the pair. Lots of words, but half the things their saying, just seems like banter. I don't sense any real grudges here. All the recipes for a boring fight.
