I haven't been scoring the whole thing on a RBR basis as I missed a couple of early ones, but at this point if Chudinov wants to salvage even a legitimate draw he needs to pull at least a knockdown outta his ass in this last stanza..

Yet his arms seem leaden and he can't seem to cleanly touch Mohammedi with anything - so fat chance.

Mohammedi outmaneuvered the straightforward Chudinov during the last few rounds. My only concern is that in looking so awkward, he might haven giving the judges reason to believe that Chudinov affected him more than he actually did.

 

Twelfth again bossed rather easily by the Frenchman.

He should get this in the 9-3 range (give or take a point in either direction) across the board if the scoring is even REMOTELY fair.

Yer, it clearly didn't effect Kovalev's performance though, I swear he just walked straight through anything Mohammedi threw. First time I saw him box was against Cleverly, he's a level shy of world class if you ask me, made it further than most fighters do in the game though, so hats off to him! He gave a pretty good account of himself tonight.

 

Yeah, his capacity for riding with punches to mitigate their effect is remarkable but the sort of nuance that only hardcore boxing folk generally catch onto, and many boxing judges as we know all too well don't really KSAB...
