    It's 0450 where I am. After seeing IB's YouTube link I decided to stay up and watch. In four hours I have to get up and teach five noisy Chinese kids, ages 4-7, to speak English. This had better be good.

    That's because the Persians have pride in who they are and their ancestors while the French elect a guy who says "there is no such thing as French culture" two days before a national election and are busy replacing their entire population in a mass display of ethno-masochism and societal suicide.

    I used to get really ****ing annoyed with fellow Iranians calling themselves Persians, because I felt it came with a sense of shame but now I don’t really care. I can see the legitimacy in both but you’ll never hear me or anyone in my family refer to themselves as Persian. It hasn’t existed in a long time lol, and for the record no one in my family is Muslim anymore and have actually gone quite radically the opposite in atheistic rhetoric which is unfortunate
