Usyk and Loma must have this thing where they feel the need to constantly outdo each other.

R2 - 10-9 Usyk - It's a masterclass so far. Too much skill.
R3 - 10-9 Usyk - Gassiev ain't winning this on points, that's for sure.
R4 - 10-9 Usyk
R5 - 10-9 Usyk - Usyk is an A-level guy. Gassiev isn't.
R6 - 10-9 Usyk - The first 6 couldn't have gone any better for Usyk.
R7 - 10-9 Usyk - Gassiev can't do anything with him.
R8 - 10-9 Usyk - Gassiev sticking with it but doesn't have enough.
R9 - 10-9 Usyk (close) - Usyk has the answers before Gassiev even asks the questions.
R10 - 10-9 Usyk (clear) - Usyk - Best big man in the game?
R11 - 10-9 Usyk

Gassiev is going to blow ridiculously out of shape in the next few months from comfort eating. He’ll look like Homer Simpson at GGG-Canelo II.

 

I've actually got bored of running my own commentary on this fight now, just going to sit back and enjoy this last round

109-100 Uysk, could have easily been 110-99 and maybe if I rewatched that second round over I'd change my mind on giving Gassiev the second round

 

They're showing the Usyk Trophy, as it will be called next year

 

Stop with this nonsense. The fight isn't even over and Gassiev has shown nothing. Lomachenko is clearly number one.

 

Usyk's stamina is mighty impressive, might be the best above 168. It's important cause he took some big Gas body shots but is still mobile and landing hard, and that discourages Gassiev who couldn't slow him down.

This is a very poor performance form Gassiev, barely a fight

 

The level of discouragement on Gassiev's face is
just.....................smh

 

You'd think Gassiyev would come out blazzing in rnd 12 but its been all Usyk

I have to say the bar has been raised here. We all knew Gassiev, while elite, was somewhat limited technically and was in with a more skilled opponent here and perhaps facing a stylistic quandary - but quite THIS much of an outclassing disparity was hard for even the biggest Usyk fan to predict. I'm not sure Lomachenko has a performance to date as impressive as this, all things considered, and he does already have several VERY impressive ones.
