That's interesting. What do you think of Teslenko and Dychko.. have you seen much of them?

No I’m afraid, bottom line I’d Martin will fight anyone anywhere if the terms were fair

Surely there come a point where you need to take a risk though? Time isn't exactly on his side. Rough end of 1 deal could lead to bigger pay days?

Martin Bakole's real age is nearer to 36 than it is to 26, so he really desperately needs to be moved along quickly.

Its extremely common for sportsmen in central Africa to be alot older than their stated age for a variety of reasons.

For example, Tarribo West the footballer was 52 years old when he retired 12 years older than his "official age" of 40.

Also if you do some digging on Bakole there are at least 3 different ages reported for him.

If he loses where does the next payday come from? He’s right to want paying properly, just like Dave Allen with Dubois and Chisora to Joyce. Lose these fights and there’s not many places to go so make sure you get the best out of it.

He’s done well to play professional football up until the age of 52 to be fair.

Sometimes you have to take a calculated risk. If he is as good as Billy keeps suggesting then it's a risk worth taking right? Or he can keep fighting lower ranked guys on non televised undercards.

I think he just needs to keep busy for the rest of the year, lose some weight and get back in shape and then at the start of next year start taking the risks.

"Terrific" might be just a slight exaggeration, moog!!! From the tiny bit I've seen of him he looks to have SOME skills/talent alright, (and I stress SOME) but he's nowhere near being the "complete package" and also he wasn't even physically fit ffs...that's pretty much page one stuff for an athlete ...which doesn't fill me with confidence in him ....no matter what Billy says. Plus I'm also doubtful he's a youngster (as Billy suggests). I strongly feel Billy might be blinded by loyaloyalty, love, the prospect of some major ££££ or whatever your having yourself in this case. Time will tell.

I agree Billy maybe overcooking him so to speak. I agree about conditioning, but i have wstched him closely Len and trust me he has world class, footwork, movement, handspeed amd power. How does he do 12 hard rounds, can he take big shots, can he hold it together and respond when losing rounds ? We still need to find these things out, which i sm sure we will in next 12-18 months.

Fight announced with Michael Hunter at York Hall October 13.

Terrific fight. Will be a tough one IMO if Bakole comes in heavy.

    Well done @billy nelson
