Oleksandr Usyk vs Mairis Briedis II

If Usyk decides to stay at cruiserweight, this is a rematch I would like to see.

 

I hope he moves up this year. Usyk is already 31, and his main strengths are his speed and footwork and that can deteriorate with age. Right now I believe he can be a heavyweight champion.

 

Briedis is a tough matchup for Usyk as we saw in their first fight. I think Briedis has a chance as he has a similar style, probably he isn't moving that well and in a smooth way like Usyk. Furthermore he is also a good puncher, has decent power and a very good work rate as Usyk has.

I would love to see Usyk vs Briedis II because the first fight was great and much more competitive than Usyk vs Gassiev was or Usyk vs Bellew would be.

But to be honest, i would love to see Usyk in the HWD, too. He is such a joy to watch and he could be a real threat to any HW out there if he adapts well enough to the higher weight.

 

Fair assessment, nothing to add really.

 

This fight has to happen. The first fight, the victor was a coin toss. a rematch is in order.

 

I'd prefer Gassiev Breidis but I'd definitely watch this again!

 

I hope they redo the CW tournament again.
The division is just stacked with talent!

 

Let's wait until heavyweight. This could be for the big belt and a lot of money.
