Don King was a scumbag who lied to his fighters and robbed them blind. Hearn is a scumbag who lies to the fans and robs them blind. Hearn's also not opposed to completely lying to his fighters if it's in Matchroom/Sky's best interests.

Don King put on great cards. Hearn puts on the shittest cards in boxing history.

WTF are you taking about? Fighters hate Hearn and talk sheet about him all the time. Haye called him out to his face, as did Frampton. Fury Hates him, Billy Joe has repeatedly **** on him, Wilder clearly hates him, Broner called him out for being cheap AF, Josh Taylor hates him, O'Hara Davies **** on him... I could go on.

Every fighter who doesn't need him for Sky thinks he's a twat. The man is one of the most hated figures in boxing right now. How you think that's up for debate I'll never know.

WTF are you on about? Boxing is clearly bigger per capita in the UK than the US. Nobody apart from you would ever argue otherwise.

Boxing also makes much more money in the US. This is another fact that isn't up for debate. The TV money is much bigger, the PPVs generate orders of magnitude more and the gates are much higher. The US has a much much bigger population and their GDP is at least 5 times the UK.

UK based title holders do no fight better opposition than us title holders. They never have in the past either. For you to say that is beyond stupid and shows your lack of basic boxing knowledge.

He did indeed flop on all his DAZN related promises. Sorry you find that personally difficult to hear but facts are facts.

Yes, Eddie thought because he had the money he could sign the big names. He thought wrong. As i have always stated. (I expected him to deliver some names but i never cared. DAZN is not available to me. I have no stakes in it.)
His initial lineup is a letdown. As i have said since the announcement.

I didn't compare him to Don King, you did. Once you did, I simply said that in boxing terms Hearn is arguably worse for the fans. Hearn consistently ensures the biggest fights don't happen. I care more about big fights being squashed than anything else. I wouldn't care if you want to call me selfish, but I just want to see the best fight the best and that has never been what Eddie Hearn is about.

He's been around for about a decade and I think that's long enough to judge him.

The fact people like yourself think it's shocking that I might criticise someone so anti-competition is just odd.

I think Hearn is bad for boxing and puts on terrible cards. That doesn't mean I think Don King is a swell guy or that murder is no biggie. You want to call out hysteria, maybe check out that bizarre train of thought you got yourself on.
