Ward never beat a decent boxer on the road, while Usyk beat the top CWs in THEIR home countries

usyk performance stands on its own it was brilliant and made history as a unified CW.

No need to try and tear down SOG who was undefeated in 160 fights ams, olympic gold medal, professional, p4p #1 fighter. his record is stellar and a first round HOF.

A Ukrainian fighting in Russia is a lot more commendable (riskier) than anywhere S.O.G (Son of Greyhound) competed at.

Unless he comes out for one more fight, or the HOF votes in more than 3 fighters per year, Ward will not make HOF on the first ballot over Floyd, Wladimir, and Cotto.

It's not even up for debate or an opinion.

Usyk is a pure boxer. He exemplifies what boxing is all about. Class, fearlessness, charisma, great ring entrances and clean fighting.

Usyk doesn't know how to hold,, hit low or rake down with the sharp end of his elbows on his opponents faces as if he's raking the leaves off his porch.

Ward can't go a round without resorting to an illegal manoeuvre. Win by any and all means necessary whilst hiring a drug dealing gangster to manager him who he treats with the utmost respect and all he did was leech off Ward.

Yet a family man who sacrificed his time and money into making name out of Ward... who helped him secure all those super six fights, he paid him back by driving him to his death.

Ward will never in any shape or form, in or outside the ring, be as good as Usyk.

How is Usyk anything to do with Andre Ward?

Why would Ward have pressed to rematch a guy who he easily beat with a fractured hand?

Instead of rematching a guy who easily beat, he eventually moved up a weight class to fight Kovalev.

Let's see if Usyk moves up.

He didn't have to press the rematch. Carl Froch was calling him out to fight in a rematch in the UK and he began acting the difficult diva, outright refusing the idea of fighting outside the comfort of Oakland.

He wasn't even going to rematch kovalev even though it was stipulated in the contract. It was only after his own idol Floyd told him that real champions don't duck rematches after a controversial win, along with SK threatening legal action, that Ward reluctantly agreed to the 2nd fight.

And yes Usyk will move up.

Carl spoke of wanting a possible rematch in Nottingham, but he didn't really press for it. And Ward didn't have to travel anywhere to rematch him. Again, he'd already comfortably beaten him whilst injured. And nobody forced him to move up and sign to fight Kovalev in the first place.

Forget Ward, and enjoy the Usyk victory.

I'd love to see him fight Bellew next.
