I overrated Gassiev, I think because the simpletons who are always calling me "racist" here got to me and I wanted to like an EE more than I really did.

And the Ukranian team. they've all had 12 or 13 fights in 5 years, great, they've had impressive STARTS to their careers, against a lot of fair fighters with paper belts. We will see where they go from here.

Of course some hated Floyd for his skin color. That doesn't need to be said all the time. And some hated floyd for acting like a friggin idiot. I saw a fairly good fighter do some fairly good things in the ring and overrated them ridiculously, and never even watched another fight of his because I didn't want to change my mind...probably BECAUSE of where he came from.

You see, when I watch the Ukranians, I just don't see pure greatness. Very good, sure, great amateurs, sure, but great GREAT fighters, no. I've seen to many fighters. So I start thinking, "homie , you must be missing something if all these other people see it." So I watch again and again...and don't see it. I saw a guy from a neighboring country do a few good things and said, AH-HAH, THAT'S IT!! Ok I'm not a racist! (then I stubbornly refused to watch one more round of him fighting).

I'm telling you I still think the guy was sick or something.

He's a world champion. Unlike Derevyanchenko, Gvozdyk or Berinchik, but that doesn't mean those guys arent good fighters, they are. If Postol had fought as an amateur until he was 26, he'd have probably been on the olympic team too. And if he had fought 8 or 20 times in WSB he would probably only have one loss as a pro.
