ATG and top 50, really? Does he beat Charles? What about Moore? Does he beat Foster? What about Spinks? What about RJJ? I just named 5 LH’s, from yesteryear to modern times, who make most people’s ATG list at LH. Plus there are lots of ATGs from other weight classes (Sanchez, Arguello, Duran, SRR, SRL, Armstrong, Duran, Lamotta, Hagler, Hearns, Pep, Hopkins, Holyfield, Ali, Holmes, Foreman, Lewis, Louis, Klitschko, Chavez, Whitaker, Floyd, Manny, etc.) who keep Andre S.O.G (Son of Greyhound Bus Lines, given his aversion to any travel that requires a passport) Ward on the outside looking in.

Goat of 168, and two immense victories against a hof kovalev including one stoppage qualifies him sorry. Why did he need a passport to fight in the mecha of boxing, USA? Did he have a passport when he won the gold in Athens?

Too any hofs on that man's resume. Too many great victories. One of the best fighters with the best resumes of the era

I'm confused. Are you saying there are too many light heavies who are already ATGs to consider Ward eligible for the top 50, or are you saying there are too many p4p greats for him to be a top 50 p4p, or a bit of both?

A bit of both. I named 5 LHs who outrank Ward on any objective fans’ ATG list. I named ATG fighters from other weight classes to illustrate how far fetched it is to think that Ward is top 50 all time.

Keep in mind that unless he comes out of retirement or the HOF admits more than 3 fighters per year, Ward will not even be a 1st ballot HOFer as I do not think he will get in over Floyd, Wladimir, and Cotto.

I think on his very best day during his absolute prime, Ward would lose a decision to Usyk.

The kovalev fights hardly strengthen your case.

He 'lost' the first one and was trailing in the second when he let go with the low blows.

First of all, he won that first fight and he never did any low blows, Kovalev was bent down and Ward's punches were on the belt - legal punches!

All legal punches from what everyone saw (everyone who is impartial). He was in Kovalev's head way before that fight and he broke him down with his vicious body punches. That head punch in the 8th sealed the deal.

not half as challenging as not being impressed by fully unifying smw, winning S6 and beating both number 1s from the division above. you must like a challenge too clearly.

HW would prove a bad decision. Wouldn't ever fight for a title, he couldn't cherry picj his way to the shot

You know nothing about boxing kid, stay in your own lane. I'm backing him, but I'm not saying he would definitely beat him, I would cheer Usyk on obviously. Learn some English ffs.

Don't make me make you cry like before, making you run off because you couldn't handle a simple argument!

Highly unlikely. And why would he do that?
