    Usyk wins easily.

Haye was fast, but Usyk is faster still with much better technique and footwork.

Haye is a bit overrated. Remember David Haye vs old Carl Thompson? And he almost lost to Mormeck too, he saved himself by using rabbit punches to stop the old champion.

Haye really had to bring out his A game against Mormeck, using all his concentration, being dropped, hurt and eventually being successful with one of his ambushes. Usyk is a complete different beast. The footwork and the angles will make him way too difficult to catch. Haye would get desperate and wild, thus getting countered and looking silly. And then there’s the stamina disparity.

true, but timing/reflexes decrease with age. Haye is 37, 38 in 3 months.

haye doesnt bring enough, and 2Sylk will only get better, hes still green. Haye is outmanned however you match this up, but not a slaughter that some suggest (including meearlier lol)

Put this way, I dont think 2Slyk will need extra spaghetti

Haye had pretty poor finishing skills actually. He always had a tendency to get too wild gunning for the KO, which most times worked, but on occasion bit him in the arse.

Haye wasn't an especially cerebral fighter compared to some of the better technicians at CW.

Based on what again? He had a paper thin resume at CW and struggled against the only top fighter he fought in Mormeck. His CW reign is vastly overrated.

I remember similar things were said before the Wlad fight. What happened on the night? Very much what happened in the Usyk Gassiev fight actually.

Like Wlad, Usyk is a master at neutralising fighters and making them fight his fight. He goes about it in pretty different ways, but he has just the same type of ability to do it. I suspect if a prime Haye were to fight Usyk we'd very soon witness him standing like a statue throwing one punch back in turn after a couple of rounds.

I think people tend to overrate Haye actually, based on his ability to razzle dazzle against mediocre opponents. He was a poor boxer at top level, who relied overly much on his physical abilities, and avoided taking on quality opposition when he could help it. He simply didn't leave us with a big enough body of fights to truly gauge his quality, but what he left us doesn't impress sufficiently to give him the benefit of the doubt against a proven talent like Usyk.

Chinny Haye was a great athlete & very explosive at CW but his resume isn't very good in all honesty... I think Usyk is a more complete article, less fragile & would out manoeuvre Haye with beautiful footwork & sublime ring craft.

Have seen it tbf, ragged but he got them out regardless...He watched like a hawk at anything coming back while he was going for it though. There's better technicians than him, but the full package is totally different story

Chisora at the time was bigger stronger and tough as f***, and very respected on the world scene...Again there was the business man side to him, he was a money man more than Legacy agreed

I would say Usyk since I doubt someone like a Carl Thompson would defeat Usyk.

No, I don't, but that's never affected my opinion of a fighter's skills. I dislike Ward as well, but I recognise him as a top talent regardless.

Haye is just someone I think is highly overrated by a lot of fans.

That's a bit unfair imo, because a green fighter can always lose to a quality veteran, certainly under the right circumstances.
That said, I would definitely favor Usyk in that fight.
