Gonna be honest 2 biggest fights of his fighters careers and he got tactics wrong for GGG and horribly wrong for Gassiev. Gassiev, came up against a fantastic Usyk but his tactics were horrible and he seemed to approach it in the same way he did Dorticos!
Abel Sanchez knew that Usyk wont fight the same like he allowed himself to get hit more and stood in front of Briedis and yet had no Plan B for Gassiev against Usyk and i wonder actually what was the plan A . Perhaps knocking out Usyk with a single right hand counter punch like he got caught in the end of round 3 or 4 and that wasnt nearly enough ? Not overly impressed with Golovkin`s plan against Canelo and Jacobs altough he won both fights for me but still looked meh , same with Brook fight as well.
It was definitely the plan, to get the knockout, there was no hope of winning otherwise. No way in hell Gassiev would have outboxed Uysk so he had to get the KO, he should have been a bit more aggressive though.
