The kids 19. I'm reserving judgment for another year or so. I think Davis and Russell jr beat him right now. But give the kid some more room to improve his game, garner needed experience. Ignore all the P4P stuff about him too.

I believe a bigger hype job is Gervonta "No Thanks" Davis. They use his age as an excuse when it comes to fight real competition, like Loma, why can't the same not be said about Garcia who is younger?

 

Gesta has learned some nice moves and even a few tricks but that boy has the boxing IQ of a rock.
And i like him.

This actually would be a good fight to make.

 

I will wait to see how he fares when he does eventually step up before I write him off, this only seems fair.

 

He is still around any boxing company should hire him & consider it a favorable write off...Lots of accumulated knowledge being burned that young, he is a good speaker so fighters will listen to him

If he stayed at 130 or drained to 122/126 he would have done much better...It was just a case of DKSAB folks telling a teen that a move to 140 "makes him stronger", which is true as in...stronger to push carts, but not a better boxer P4P

 

If GBP actually wants something out of Ryan, sculpt him into 122.

He’s a good prospect they are pushing way to fast they need to let the kid develop and he needs to shut his mouth and work on his game. I don’t really like his fundementals he should start there

 

Gesta is a safe pick by Oscar. Oscar learned his lesson with Ortiz maidana. Garcia has all the physicality advantages reach height power speed and although gesta has more pro experience he doesn’t have more boxing experience. Gesta needs a ko to win or Garcia gets the canelo dec.
