Who is even talking about WBSS being on DAZN? It was a side note. And i agree on the "biggest deal" part. I agree Hearn failed to deliver.
DAZN is just.. idk wtf it is. Hearn can make it big but good luck to him. Talk about a hard road when your biggest name is Jessie Vargas.
But Hearn has the money and he has some time, so i can't call it a flop. FFS Hearn was able to make guys like Crolla and Quigg into big names.

So again, what **** am i spewing? You keep saying i am in love with Hearn and keep saying that i think Hearn is great yet for some reason i keep agreeing with you on most things.

We all know Quigg and Crolla are average and basic. The fact the car salesman even attempts to persuade us his not, is why he is hated.

This is all in the UK Market, which is full of deluded football fans of course he can pursuade drunk brits that quigg and crolla are worldbeaters, but if you or him thinks he can do that in the states you belong in a mental institution ASAP. This just comes back to mediocrity, Brits settle for Medicority as they are a small country like Pacquiao and the Phillipines.

Look at the Whyte-Parker card, still hasn't confirmed Brook is off, has a Women as the main co-event and used Eubank Jr as False Advertising on Sky. You are a absolute ******

Again, yes i said Hearn is a great promoter because he can make guys like Crolla and Quigg big names. At least he doesn't keep his fighters in house and they all get tested time and time again.

But the overall product is a bit shady. Whyte-Joshua as a PPV? Joshua fighting Povetkin instead of Wilder? I dont agree with those fights.

And of course he can do that in the states. Fans will be fans. Just look at the popularity of Broner.

I think Eddie is really good at what he does, but i dont think he does anything great.
He announced a 1billion dollar deal yet he is giving the fans Jessie Vargas.

And btw, Katie Taylor has had a lot of hype since his Olympic gold. Makes sense that he is the co-main. Overall the card is stacked with local favorites in good fights. But again, by no means should it be PPV.

he hyped it up like he was going to announce something world shaking but it was just that he got a contract with some streaming/subscription service lol.

 

He wouldn't have been able to make backstreet fringe contenders such as crolla and Quigg big names in America.

He managed to make them big because hearn knows how to garner support amongst the locals in their hometowns who branch off from football supporters and Hearn crosses the two sporrs over by building up a similar atmosphere at his shows that youd get at a football match where the louts are piled with alcohol along with sleezy pub songs to whip them all up into a frenzy.

He couldn't replicate that formula in America even if he tried.

 

He definitely would need to find a different way to sell the tickets in the U.S. Lets see if he has learned something.
But the idea in itself is a really good one. Get the locals to show up and build a great atmosphere. (I still get goosebumps thinking about JaunMa-Saldio II. Now that was amazing!)
