Shame Graham never had Calzaghe's chin, winning mentality and elite skills.

 

Doubt it. I've noticed a thick double standard in this forum. Usyk will get mostly praise for using angles, and slapping pitter pat, while other boxers from a different part of the world are ridiculed and derided for using the same style of boxing. Mods here even ban people for pointing such things out.

 

He's just different. Usyk moves more than Ward who liked to stay in the pocket. His technique is far more traditional than Joe's.

I'm a fan of a guy using what works for him.

Usyk doesn't seem to have any more power than Andre, nor much less if any. He has enough to get respect but not KO elite competition. He's not quite as quick with his hands as Joe, but he throws straighter more accurate shots and has more power.

ui are quite right that green/novice Usyk has bypassed joe already. even odin agrees as he liked your post so you must be right.

 

unless hes the welsh ref who got tagged several times by joe but didnt feel anything. he might just be that ref from the gif, he musta had an iron beer belly.

 

The reason why Herol likes this post is that you've assumed there is a Mrs. Gee. There prob isn't and just as likely never was.

 

I expect Usyk to retire undefeated just like the great Calzaghe. Both are true winners who have mastered their craft.

 

you are underselling Usyk, he will do a lot more than take on two 40somethings when he moves up.
