    Ali and Tyson were way, WAY more popular worldwide than AJ is. It's not even close.

    He's not even the most famous heavyweight today much less all time. Any of the major sports brand agencies would assign him to a regional director of their British marketing department.

    That's not totally his fault though. Boxing has become much less mainstream but he does himself no favor by fighting singularly in one country. Also, his personality is a bit blah. Klitschko almost seems effervescent compared to Joshua.

    So far he is a flash in the pan. He has a long way to go.

    Muhammad Ali, Mike Tyson, Rocky Marciano, George Foreman, even Wladimir Klitschko - around the world I'd wager most "lay" people would be more likely to know who they are than AJ. Movies touching on boxing will be inclined to have posters of some or all of these guys, they have been household names around the world.

    AJ is huge news in the UK, but only to boxing fans (albeit even casual ones) elsewhere. Most people in NZ had little idea of who he was when Parker was going to fight him other than he was clearly big and scary, hell Lennox Lewis was a lot more known when Tua faced him.

    Believe what you want I was hoping to get the Europeans side of things and have some fun debates about the fight. Maybe when you get some money you can travel outside of your city and find out till then I’ll keep your broke ass updated

    So who is the most well know HW today??? I would assume that the one whose purses a 20 time higher than anyone else would be quite popular but it seems I'm wrong..
