The WBC silver belt is on the line in Whyte v Parker so Wilders soon gonna be forced to fight an elite heavyweight under the age of 40

I'd like to see Parker work on his footwork. If he doesn't he could box Wilder's ears off all night and still walk into a knock out punch.

    He will knock wilder out.

His handspeed is the best in the division and when (not if) he clips wilder, he will finish him with a blistering combo

Oh, hurrah, if it's true! Finally a live opponent. I look forward to see Wilder eating canvas.

Actually, the WBC offered Luis Ortiz an eliminator. Whoever Ortiz eventually fights in that eliminator, the winner will be Wilder's next mandatory.

Whyte's position in the WBC rankings is meaningless, as is his belt.

Why would they ever want to fight Wilder in the USA and get robbed or knocked out for less money than rather fight AJ rematch for a LOT more money instead ? No point lol.

Or are they going to play the long game and take the WBC belt from Wilder then rematch him and win again and eventually afterwards unify for then even more money against AJ ? Fat chance tho.Whyte gets knocked out brutally vs Wilder and Parker losses decision.

The WBC does whatever it is paid to do, and is why the belt no longer holds value over the others.

For Welterweight, they made Garcia v Porter for mandatory status, which is 1 v 2.

For Heavyweight, they made Breazeale v Molina, Molina wasn't even top 10.

    Whyte should be mandatory already.....

^this. Pretty sure Parker wants a Joshua rematch, and Wilders management want no piece of Parker. Very typical and conveninent of the WBC though to now make Ortiz, a fighter with no money, a compulsory if you want to get to Wilder. Keeps everyone off poor little Deontays back for a bit longer.

Nope the Silver belt means nothing. Whyte's had it for ages but Breazeale who's ranked below him still got the mando before him. Parker could be ranked number 1, have the silver belt, the interim belt, the intercontinental belt, fought an eliminator, beaten every other top 10 ranked WBC heavy and still not get a mando shot and even if he does it took Wilder almost 3 years to fight his first mando vs Stiverne, he could be retired by then lol.
