why is asking you to support your statement, me "dragging this thread into to gutter"? explain, pal. all i did was ask for clarification of your statement. YOU made the statement, who else would I ask. I aint gonna call the girl Ghostbusters.
i asked you for proof of his standard vs elite fighters in the past that you CLEARLY and BLATANTLY drew parallel with. you've not listed any elite fighters from GGG's past. why wont u back up your statement? dont run away crying troll to save you replying, pal.
Golovkin has fought Jacobs who I consider elite at 160 and as you should has been avoided like the plague at 160 throughout his career. What elite fighters like GGG should do is dominate inferior opposition , as GGG has done your Macklins....your Lemieuxs....your Rubios.....stopping them in brutal fashion. Something that Pavlik was unable to do....something that Martinez was unable to do......and true elite fighters when faced with inferior opposition shouldn't have to fight your Robert Allen's 3 times to prove superiority. That's an elite fighter in his own right.
come to what pal? r u seriously trying to fake that I am some GGG troll?? really? the guy who invented the name CLenelo and has written 100s of posts declaring GGG's strengths? i'd be happy to answer any question u set me, but you've not answered mine -when will you answer it, pal? will u be answering it ever?
danny jacobs is elite?? holy smoking mackeroli. wtf u writing pal?? i hope you mistyped that, I'll forgive a mistake. oh u ran off, ok, no suprise, I'd do a runner if i'd just tried to claim jacobs is an elite.
This..One thing I will say,Macklin was a hard contender never showed any chin probs or weaknesses throughout his career and should've been a champ v Sturm, his problem was pacing himself, but how GGG totally put him on the back foot and worried him visibly with his punch and pressure from first bell was impressive. Macklin was a rough tough fighter. Sounds silly to most, but only a special fighter brushes Macklin aside like f all, like no competition. Good post Odin
I respect GGG, he's a great fighter and champion, period. That said it's disappointing that he wouldn't go to 168 when there were fights there for him, instead staying at MW fighting "pretty good" fighters. Now that MW is heating up and it seems there are challenges to be had he's talking about moving up to SMW where there are some "pretty good" fighters but no real legacy/money fights to be had.
na mate GGG just wants an extra legacy fight with ATG SMW CHunky , why deny him that at age 36. WHy cant he do what he wants when he is about to quit.
I don't care what he does...his legcay and how history will remember him is out of my control, I wish all fighters the best, they earn it. That said...WTF is "Chunky"?
my apologies, its degales nickname. Having Chunky on your resume surely isnt a bad thing, would you disagree?
His goal was to be the undisputed MW World champion. A feat very few every do now. When you say 'MW is heating up", you mean Jermall Charlo is there now, right?
