Well, he didn’t beat Damiani so I can’t see him beating Bowe. Holyfield’s work rate would be too much.

I read somewhere he went for the super heavy spot and Biggs beat him and then Cus moved him down to heavy and thats when he lost to Tilman.

Yes he was better than Briggs, but Nunn never faced Tyson.

And when JT clocked him his chin was exposed, neck erect, no way to survive that.

The actual fight between Bowe and a diminished Biggs was close enough that the best version might edge him.

Yeah evander would definitely reel him in in the second half but Biggs at his best does have the speed and the reach to just keep beating Bowe to the punch and moving.
Tubbs almost did it and he was also way past it.

Bowe was a very good fighter at his best but he was also lucky that a much smaller man kept trying to knock him out the night he won his title. Had holyfield given Bowe the respect he gave foreman it would have been a different fight imo.

Both Tyson and Lewis would have been tougher stylistic matchups for Bowe with his defense and slow feet.

After the Bowe fight, Tubbs had a run in 92 where he beat Seldon, Ferguson (a few months before he beat Mercer), and Zolkin (undefeated). I don't think Biggs had a three fight streak that good in his whole career. And Tubbs probably was more into cocaine than Biggs for anyone using that as a crutch.

I don’t know what that’s all about. Maybe he lost to Briggs or someone else at super heavy at some point and Cus decided to move him down, but the Olympic Trials are the only way to make the U.S. Olympic team and you can only fight in one division at the trials — you can’t change divisions after you lose, for instance.
