Both riding a streak of 5+ losses(mostly finishes) without having tasted victory in several years. So in a novelty way this fight makes perfect sense but it's also a sad sight. Still many hardcores will tune in for the utter train wreck between these two once dynamic, heavy handed ex-LW contenders. Who do you guys fancy here? I give Gomi a slight edge since he's at home and Guillard is essentially in travelling journeyman mode at this point.. Although Gomi isn't in that much better of a spot.

Gomi KO/TKO. Both are shot to bits but Gomi was actually a great fighter at one point, whereas Guillard was never anything more than a fringe contender with above average athletic ability.

As a fan of Gomi I'll probably watch and hope he gets the win but I prefer he quit then see more pathetic efforts from him, I believe he is quite well off and doesn't need to continue .
It's been a sad decline for both but Gomi has looked unfit and uninterested for most of his time in UFC and especially recently losing 6 in a row in the 1st round most of the time not even getting to the half way mark of the round.

Last time Gomi looked good was against Sanchez in 2013. He got robbed badly there.... Seemed to completely fall off after that.

Both guys come out throwing bombs! They settle down for 2 minutes or so and then Gomis knees buckle and Guillard is all over him. But then suddenly Gomi comes back to life and knocks Guillard out cold against the ropes.
