After dominating a weak middleweight division for years he's gonna leave when the division is finally competitive? LOL He had the chance to move up or down when he said "154-168 EZFOMI". However when it came to Andre ward he didn't want to fight at 168 anymore despite also wanting to fight chavez Jr at that weight.
and what current top fighters do Puerto Rico have? cause I sure as hell dont know any. dont worry I'll wait for your answer lets see if you can answer it without mentioning some fighter from 1997 lmao.
Just as realistic as any of his other "ducks" he is just about to complete one of his main goals which was breaking the mw defense record, he tried to gather all the main belts but others refused to fight him during his decade of pure dominance, now he's on the very end of the back 9 and should close out with a couple money fights and be done
Just because he didn't lose doesn't have any bearing on his current form. GGG isn't what he was during his peak. He was an absolute Friggin beast for a decade, he's still great and can still beat true elite fighters that are in their primes. That's how great Ggg is as a talent.. Still the absolute best mw at ****ing 37. His toughest fight from 160/68 are Saunders and groves, groves be tough for a few rounds where bjs will be tough to beat atm. Ggg should end with a couple $$$ fights. Beat canelo AGAIN, that's beating a prime fighter then the real test would be bjs that could end up a trilogy, see what hearns is offering for another huge UK fight. One more great year from atg Ggg and is ova!!!
Charlo for one. Golovking fought in a middleweight division that was probably the weakest of the last 50 years, and now that he has some young lions to fight, he wants to skip out and run to 168 to fight that fairy DeGale.
How exactly is he ducking Charlo? He's fighting the STILL recognized linear MW champ in Canelo FFS. And I think this MIGHT be news to you, fighters say things all the time that do not happen. You've been on this site a decade....haven't you caught on to that yet?
If he moves up to fight DeGale at 168, instead of figthing Charlo, that my friend, is a duck. James "the slapping sissy" DeGale, is a much easier fight than Charlo is.
Well guess what...he hasn't done anything yet but prepare for Canelo. Remind me what Jermall has done at 160 again?
I never commented on Jermall's middleweight opposition in this thread. Doesn't change the fact that he is going to destroy Golovkin.
You're entitled to your opinion. I assume it's based on his destruction, I mean close win over jrMW contender Austin trout.
Anyone who moves up and down are just weight bullies tbh.. GGG probs weight in as a middleweight on the day..
I believe he is coming into his own, and he also isn't cutting as much weight anymore. It might be a moot point if Golovkin loses to Canelo.
