It was turd to start with to be fair. This should have never have been a full price PPV. I understand some fights need more money to make than others but this is going to cost the same as AJ - Povetkin which is ridiculous.
I agree m8. If it was on a channel no one had already paid for a subscription to have, then it would not be as bad, but to put this on Sky Box office at full price is shocking.
I feel sorry for whyte in a way, he doesn’t pull in as much on his own and really needs a strong undercard to get the numbers in, Hearn is completely to blame for this. Even when the fights were originally announced people thought ok this is just about passable but now half have fallen through its no longer ppv imo
This card is doomed. With al the cancelled fights you could make a card on its own. Buatsi vs Summers was good on paper, but now it's just a keep-busy fight against a pushover.
He is yeah. He’s only 6 fights in but you can see the quality there. Just heard an interview with him before on the BBC comes across as a really nice lad too.
It’s rubbish obviously but he gave Koelling a good fight and has been here and won before. Probaly better than his record suggests but still very poor.
I couldn't agree more with the undercard comments relating to this card. Whyte v Parker isn't enough to persuade people to pay for PPV (Hopefully), Eddie has gotten away with it with AJ but this is totally different. It's one I won't be buying simply due to the woeful undercard, had we seen a couple of domestic 50-50s for the British titles and then some of bigger names fighting good quality opposition (Brook, Campbell etc) would of probably made me take the plunge.
Opp has been in with good names and wouldnt be grumbling so much if not PPV but this card is terrible
Mate, I've seen people say they're now buying it purely off the back of Allen being on the card. It doesn't matter what Hearn lines up, people will pay
I think this is it mate, I really do. There's something magical about Hearn when he pitches to the casuals. If he pulls this off now, considering all the pull outs, and the main event was really never Ppv in the first place then I can see us getting either, A. More Ppv per year B. The quality of the fighters been below ppv acceptable range. C. Both Hearn could talk a nun into buying a dildo
