I know Tony gets the short end of the stick and has proven people wrong, but I don't see how he beats Usyk. There is no path to victory aside from landing a bomb. Usyk has him beat in every department.

“It’s got to be for all the belts. There’s no point in it being for anything else. I know he’s trying to accommodate me saying he would fight me at heavyweight. He’s saying that because he struggles doing cruiserweight.”

    _______________

Classic Bellew, i'll fight anyone just as long as they have a clear disadvantage. Bellew is the one of the two who has fought at HW and yet here he is ruling out a fight at that weight because he wants Uysk - in his opinion - potentially weight-drained at CW.

Why not just agree to fight him at either CW or HW?

Matchroom fighters have to adhere to the coward's code, whereby they can only accept a fight if there is a clear lopsided advantage in their favor.

I agree. If Michael Hunter, who isn't half the Fighter or puncher Bellew is was able to land consistently on Usyk and have Usyk fading in the middle rounds I definitely think Bellew has a solid chance at pulling it off he comes in tip top shape.

A cherry picker for sure, saying he'll fight Uysk in a weight class he almost certainly will never fight in again.

    Belle's cherry picking CV:

    1. Drags Cleverly up to CW for their rematch
    2. Fights an injured David Haye
    3. Rematches a crippled David Haye
    4. Offers to fight retired Andre Ward at CW
    5. Says he will fight Fury but only if it's made soon - ie: before he gets back into shape and shakes off the ring rust
    6. Wants a rematch with Stephenson.... at CW
    7. 'Agrees' to fight Uysk at CW hoping he might struggle to make weight

He likes a competitive advantage that lad...

    What fighter doesn't?

Loma made an old and inactive Rigo jump two weight classes.

    Loma fought an inactive Walters.

Ward made Dawson drop down to 168.

Cotto and Canelo forced catchweights on multiple opponents.

Usyk fought an inactive Michael Hunter.

PAC drained a bunch of opponents by forcing them to fight at catchweights.

Floyd even pulled the catchweight nonesense against both Marquez and Canelo.

It’s sort of ironic coming from bellew who’s fat ass is going to struggle making cruiserweight seeing as he hasn’t fought at cruiserweight since 2016.

If anything I think it makes usyks chance’s of a tko victory higher.

That's one example per fighter. Tony has been doing this consistently for years now, while all the time peddling the warrior image. He's not. He's a businessman/boxer. Not unique I agree, but he works a different angle to the reality with his image... portraying himself as this raw fighter who takes everyone into deep waters. The credibility gap between the myth and the reality combined with his 'honest' reputation are cleverly woven to hide the fact he's in the cash-out phase of his career.

Bellew will never make this fight, at either weight. He couldn't face ending his career after a one-sided beat down either at CW, where he claims to be the best in the world, or at the hands of a fighter making his HW debut.

Well this idiot has just called every Matchroom fighter a coward. This fool has no credibility to any argument against any single Matchroom fighter because he is quite clearly driven by an agenda. Not that this needed to be said he is usually full of complete **** with what he posts.

NO CREDIBILITY. There you go its in capitals so it must be fact.

People are labeling Usyk the best Cruiser of all time but all of a sudden he can't fight at that weight. He's the undisputed champ at Cruiser and of course it'd be extremely dumb for Bellew to not try to fight him for all the belts. CW is most likely a disadvantage for Bellew more than Usyk.

I think he might just for the fact he doesn’t consider Usyk a big puncher, bellew keeps talking about not taking to much punishment so I could see him taking this fight putting it on ppv and then retiring.

I agree with your first six points but not this, he wants the fight at CW because the undisputed title will be on the line, the weight stuff was just chatter. Bellew is a daft turd if he really thinks Usyk is struggling at the weight, he weighed in at a comfy 198.25 and had the stamina to throw 930 punches.
