They would be the only type of opponents who would feel anything from his punches. The cruisers today would simply laugh in his face.

there is no comparison. Usyk just did an Andre Ward in his SUper 6, but without the headbutts and hometown fights.
Usyk has completed unification at age 24(?). Calzaghe won his first recognised title at age 34.

Usyk has beomce elite at 24. Joe still had question marks over being elite at age 35 when he was quitting.

 

i ask you, if a man can become elite at 24, where do you think his path lies?

this calibre of man hasnt been seen since the old days when men used to go for world titles young. 2Slyk is a saviour to modern boxing that was sliding into a sloth pit of media image friendliness and 10 year padded resumes .

 

Usyk is the guy Calslappy wishes and dreams about being able to fight like. If he could go back and change just one thing in his life, it'd probably be modeling his style after the Cossack cat. But unfortunately for him, The Cossack cat came after the slapper and showed what real cossack boxing is.

 

The same thing would have happened to Joe if he faced a prime Julian Jackson, or RJJ for that matter. Probably most of the top 10 Middleweights of all time.....pretty much any legit great fighter.

 

This is a joke right Calzaghe is known as a greater fighter than Jackson. Jackson got KO'd 6 times! He had no chin! Whereas Calzaghe had a granite chin and could adapt to any style, he was a true winner. Apart from Power, Calzaghe was better than Jackson in EVERY department!
