Is it just me or was Usyk noticeably bigger in the ring than Gassiev? Coming into the fight I had expected the harder punching, iron chinned Gassiev to look bigger and stronger. But it was actually the opposite. Usyk looked like he was the naturally larger man. You could see it in his shoulders, the thickness of his back and core. I was not expecting that. Gassiev may have been an half inch of inch taller, but that was about it. Usyk was looking massive for a CW in there. I suspect Usyk would have made CW David Haye look small as well. Bring on the HW division.
Usyk doesn't rehydrate much weight after the weigh in. He was 207lbs for the Michael Hunter fight and 208lbs for Mchunu.
Bellew made Haye look small, and Haye actually weighed more. I dont think Usyk was drastically bigger than Gassiev, but it looked like he can put on more weight.
