This content is protected Did someone sabatoge Patel? I'm absolutely outraged how dare they not play Patel's patented entrance EDIT: THIS is old Patel has been so active figured it was recent
ESB can't have too many Prince Patel threads. One day we might even get to see one of his fights. On telly. Live. With commentary in English. On a channel we've heard of.
Apparently when Eubank Sr fought Benn for the first time, they were suppose to play "Simply The Best" and they sabotaged that and according to peoplemthere at the time Barry Hearn was so outraged and annoyed he grabbed somebody by the throat. If you watch the fight YouTube and watch the entrances I think there is a couple of note stories of "Simply The Best" and it goes off. As for Patel, I can't wait to see him KTFO, I don't believe I've ever wanted to see a fighter get ruined as much as I want to see him ruined.
They're so threatened by him and what he represents that they have to stoop to these kind of lengths to try and get under his skin. The fear is very real.
Haha! Great story never heard that. Wow that's a damn shame, it was Epic when Eubank came out to "simply the best"
You may or may not have seen this. Its Eubank in the dressing room after Benn 1, Daddy Hearn is there and Eubank is the most humble person you'll ever see, completely different from the act he puts on normally. You can see and even hear him talk about how battered he is and how much pain he is in. Considering how well known Eubank Sr is I can't believe this video has under 6k of views on YouTube. He's one guy I'd tune in for as soon as (eventually he has to, right?!) he fights a legit guy at the weight. Only to see him get brutally KTFO.
That shows the huge effort physically and mentally a tough world title fight has on you. He can barely stand up or talk. And that’s a prime athlete who was always in shape and tough as old boots.
Yeah I know, I think it's a really interesting little video. Normally we just see a little post fight interview when the fighters adrenaline is still buzzing and that's it, camera goes off and we all talk about the fight and the fighter normally goes off to hospital in a state like that. We rarely get to see a fighter who has taken a beating or been involved in a real war back in dressing room and what the immediate effects of a brutal fight does to a boxer. That's why I get a little irritated when I see the word "bum" or "coward" because It takes a special kind of person to be a professional fighter.
