Do you think Duran was still quick enough at light middle to beat Leonard or do you think it would be another 'no mas'?

Leonard. He was the better fighter. Moore had 11 fights.

Leonard would have comfortably outslicked him. Speed and movement were Duran's kryptonite at the higher weights.

I think Duran beating Moore was more impressive than Leonard beating Kalule, but I'd still pick that Leonard to beat that Duran, as much as I hate to say it.

Duran would have problems becuz Leonard doesnt have to stay flat footed

I dont see Leonard coming out unscathed but he figures to win on points. sorry about that

you need a fighter with EVERYTHING - speed, power, defense, and a good fight plan

Did someone say Joe Sayatovich? (team Norris)

Kalule was a very good technician, Moore was a novice.

Well if you look hard at the fights odds wise, Nobody was picking Kalule. Nobody. Leonard was a massive favorite going in.

Lots of folks were going with Moore to win his match. So you have 1 bout comparing a virtual lock against another bout where a guy was matched tough & attempting to win a world title. Much much bigger risk factor for Roberto Duran. And Duran rose to the occasion and came out with the W. And this is after some flat performances & being forced to raise his game against a champ with youth on his side. Leonard was not having to face and deal with any of that stuff.

Davey Moore knocked out Kalule a year after Leonard did.

Only four guys ever beat Kalule and they were Leonard, MOORE, McCallum and Herol Graham (in Kalule's last fight).
