I was hoping someone on here could shed some light on this for me. Really excited for this fight and was wondering if anyone knew if its going to be streamed here in the states(legal and free obviously). I thought it was showtime but just realized it wasn’t. Anybody know??
Maybe not? http://www.*****.net/2018072624930/news/whyte-v-parker-running-out-of-time-to-secure-us-tv-deal
Why isnt he shoving it on the old Dazzling DAZN? Has broadcasting started yet in the States? Been going a while hasnt it. No American Tv then? Shocking. Do they like Boxing or just Boxing Americans?
Can’t see the page but I see what the link says and that really sucks. Really surprising too considering how hot the heavyweight division is now this is easily the most important fight outside of wilder and Joshua and it’s a total pick em’. who you think comes out on top?
No TV coverage in the US, as far as I know. The funny thing is HBO showed the Whyte-Browne fight, but not this one for some reason.
I don't want to paste the story here as there must be a reason the url is blanked out, possibly due to copyright concerns. Anyway the gist of the story is as you'd expect and if you google world boxing news Whyte Parker you'd get any further details you need. As you say it's a pick'em I've changed my mind twice this week but edge towards Parker as having the technical edge. Whyte has heart, a chin and an upward trajectory but if Parker boxes at his best I think he's got too much for Dillian.
I don’t think dazn is available yet although I haven’t looked into it, the fact that I’m going to have to pay for another channel or streaming service just to watch boxing drives me nuts. I just got suckered into ESPN+ which for the life of me I dont understand. I gotta pay 5$ a month to watch what should be available on the 50 ESPN channels I pay for. Imagine you pay for multiple ESPN channels, hbo, showtime, FS1 and then find out all these fights are gonna be on the “DAZN” network SMH.
It will only really make sense once you cut your cable, subscribe to Dazn, espn and Netflix and use the change to pay for fancy cocktails and groovy threads to impress loose women.
