It was very negative fight. But Parker was more active with his jab and straight to the body.

It could have been a draw or 7-5 to Parker easily. Joshua got hometown decision.

I see Parker outboxing Whyte too, who is much slower and more easy to hit than Joshua.

Think you've been on the end of too many check jabs. It was a controlled, comfortable but dull win from Joshua

    7-5 Parker outboxing A juicin' j
The ref told Parker " Stop coming forward"
Parker even mentioned it in the gloves off face to face. What's weird is Whyte deflected Parker telling the truth. Whyte must be a company man:thinking:

When you judge a fight you look for the guy who lands the most not the one who throws the most and without bias to the one you like better.

lol Joshua landed almost twice as much jabs as Parker did.

He definitely wasn't outboxed by Parker.

It would have been a much more competitive fight if the ref would have allowed some inside fighting but from the distance Parker didn't had a real chance as Joshua was fighting like Wlad 3.0

The ref jumping in was as much a hindrance to AJ as it was Parker.

Joshua came in very light and utilized 100% of his substantial size and length to outbox Parker, with a shocking amount of restraint and or negativity most of the way. That's about the gist of it.

I was impressed Parker was able to keep it so close considering the physical disadvantage he was at. If Joshua and Parker were the exact same size I very much can imagine Parker cleanly outboxing the much more mechanical Joshua. Just my opinion though.

It was quite a "technical" fight and they both kind of 'negated' each other.

I think both would be more aggressive if they fight again

A rematch would be an improvment on the 1st fight.
