Wilder could do it if he lands, he's shown he's got a good chin too. If he can do it, he'll be down on points and catch him in the later rounds, then it's WINDMILL TIME! Not saying I favour him though. Frazier would probably take him out late on accumulation or get a points win.

How is fighting a giant like Joshua relevant to facing the comparatively tiny Frazier. I don't see how Joshua beating Wilder would suggest Frazier could do the same.

I think Wilder would have his way, somewhat similar to the way Foreman had his way.

I didn't watch Wilder except some youtube highlights, but iirc he doesn’t have short hooks and uppercuts in his arsenal like Foreman did. He's all about that long right hand, where he can generate a lot of power thanks to his height and leverage... Similar to Thomas Hearns.

I'd favor Frazier to smoke him... Wilder may drop him if he hits him flush, but don't think he can finish him being so wild and sloppy and not having Foreman like punching variety in his offense...

I can't pick against a prime Frazier here for me wilder still looks pretty raw for a champion with the amount of fights he's had

It would prove Wilder is a great heavyweight...he’s capable of beating greatness at heavyweight

Right now, I think Joshua is too much of a powerful athletic super heavyweight and could bomb out Frazier with his style of relentless power punches from all angle

He did put Spilzka’s lights out when he tried to crowd Wilder.

Hilarious, some of the same people doubting wilder due to his so called lack of resume pick Ike Ibeabuchi to beat frazier.

Again styles make fights ,1st is what Foreman did to Frazier was the key. And what he did, and probably better than any heavy in history because of his great strength was push Frazier off balance, than nail him with the uppercuts. Foreman was unnaturally strong. Probably top 5 in pure physical strength in Championship caliber Heavyweight history if not #1. Wilder though he hits hard never has shown that kind of physical strength to just muscle an opponent.2nd and most importantly in my opnion is Wilder flailing when he gets winded, which usually starts around the 5th rd. He loses all technique when he tires which tells me he hasn't trained until its instinctive . Think about this Frazier left hook in the 15th rd of FOTC was as perfectly timed, and powerful as any hooks he used in the 1st few rds. Also, look at the right leads and crosses Ali landed in the 13th and 14th rds in Manila. Perfectly thrown, though he was" near death"( his words) So many on this site get caught up with the body beautifuls and size of today's heavyweights, my question is always can they actually fight? At least on or close to the level of fighters from the past. I say no, and I believe that if prime Frazier, made the fastest heavy in history reapeatedly miss by slipping his punches in the FOTC. What could Wilder actually do with Frazier. Not much, Frazier smokes him in about 6rds.

Wilder looked so scared and carefull of Ortiz his counter. I dont think he has the heart to even take on Frazier.

Frazier wins the vast majority of the time. But occasionally Wilder catches him. But the answer here is Frazier right now.

One thing that I can agree with is Foreman was technically better than Wilder and seemed more adept at throwing uppercuts and seemed to have a better chin. And, Frazier did manage to get in some flush left hooks to Foreman before going down

Obviously, Foreman couldn't have just ate left hooks from Frazier all night without eventually feeling the effects, but he didn't have to. Had Wilder gotten caught early, how would he have responded is the question?
