Your a little too hard on Whyte F1ght3rz. Skillswise Whyte isn't great, but when it comes to heart and determination Whyte has it.

Whyte has grown on me over the years. Funny how he was painted as the bad guy vs AJ but now is one of the more interesting characters on the HW scene. I was happy to see Joshua KO him few years ago, now I kind of enjoy watching him.

Heart, maybe, he showed it vs Chisora in the later rounds, yes. Determination? I don't know. He didn't look like he is fully dedicated to the sports otherwise he would have lost some weight for fighting a fast and skilled athlete like Parker but he decided to gain some pounds compared to his last fight vs Browne where Whyte looked slow even compared to his shot opponent who was even slower of course.

Whyte is also a guy who is anxious to get hit hard. He hasn't faced any big punching dangerous opponent so far.

I think his "heart and determination" and "He will fight everyone" talk is a bit too much.

Showing heart and determination vs old and shot shithouse fighters isn't a big deal imo.

Of course Whyte isn't crap, he is still legit Top 20 HW quality. But not even close to be a Top 5 contender.

I can tell you Wilder would destroy him in three rounds. The first big right hand would crack him, the second would kill his "heart" and the third would send him to the canvas.

If he throws those punches, yes. He changed his style from hitting like a rock to Wlad 2.0 recently.
And yes, he faced Joshua to gain the biggest payday of his entire life. I mean we have to exclude AJ from his resume. Facing AJ is the best thing that can happen to an average boxer in terms of earning money. This is a huge payday for everyone, you can't say NO even if you know you gonna lose and you gonna eate some nasty shots.

Well obviously Whyte wanted a good payday against AJ, but both guys had beef between each other coming into the fight and it was personal. :chuck:

There is a difference between Whyte hurting Joshua and Ortiz hurting Wilder. Rewatch both rounds and tell me i am wrong.

Then i have to correct myself, i didn't want to say he wasn't hurt, i only wanted to say he wasn't hurt much, he was shocked for a couple of seconds that he was stunned there but he reacted really aggressive later on so i doubt he was really in trouble there.

his Iegs went shaky so he was probs hurt/stunned for a good 15-30 seconds but ya he recovered. Joshua doesn't have the best chin but he has heart.
