Not sure that's right. Without ppv you need broadcasters to pay more in rights fees but they are not and that's the problem. Purses are on the rise but broadcast rights are not.
Yes there will be many more watching in the UK than forking out PPV. Only a tiny % of the UK population are PPV mugs
I don't think either fighter would of took the fight if say there purse was 50% of what is. Whyte is close to a world title shot and wouldn't of taken the risk. Parker wouldn't of took it as back to back losses puts him in a hole.
That's irrelevant. A small percent of the population is all which is required to make it a financial success. I'm pretty sure there are millions who watch game of thrones without having sky or hbo but again doesn't really matter.
I don’t live in a fantasy world where fighters will just take fights regardless of how much they are earning or how much the fans want a fight. Fighters and managers will always weigh up risk vs reward.
Hearn said both will be millionaires from this fight so at a minimum we are looking at around a mil. I assume the guarantee is lower than that and they know the minimum ppv upside will get them over a million each.
Could they get a mill a piece without PPV? Yes. Spare a thought for the new zealand fans who have had to pay to watch Parker for a while now! Haha
even the biggest Usyk hater like inferno021pussyhole would surely admit usyk is leagues above parker and whyte.
Didn't Parker get a million against shades of ali on youtube it collapsed fat Mick courtcases then the you tube platform and parkers purse easy with other people's money I guess Could be way wrong though
