    I really like Allen as a person, I'm so happy for him, I hope he stays around this level for a while and earns some money.

    The worse thing Hearn can do now is throw him in with somebody like Joe Joyce or Dubois. Actually is he still with Hearn?

    I don't think he is.. ffs I'm not sure. I hope Hearn keeps him on the bills, maybe on the AJ/Povetkin card.

    Anyway, That's what happens when you throw punches, you can actually win fights.


    As for Webb, I'm not having any of him.

    I was worried for Allen in this fight. Not because I thought Webb was a world beater, but rather because they were sticking him in with a big puncher after he was coming off a stoppage loss 5 weeks ago where he took a lot of punishment. Really pleased for him but by the same token I feel bad for Webb because, like Allen, he seems like a really nice chap too.

    He did say that he would continue boxing if he wins but take the rest of the year out. Would be smart so long as he dedicates that time to getting in shape and healing. He’s taken tremendous beatings this year and remember that horrific cut too which I bet hasn’t healed fully.
