It is "only" about mentality, and also to some extent technically as well.

Physically he has all the tools, he was only one big punch away at the end and there is an element of luck too.

He's the exact same fighter. Parker looked terrible tonight and he still should have gotten the decision despite a bs KD and Whyte fouling all night without consequence.

So apart from AJ & Fury, Whyte has conquered the heavyweight scene. All continents deposed. Now for some big all UK fights.

Stop your anti British nonsense. You clearly have a massive chip on your shoulder.

If he is not motivated, he should indeed retire.

They were struggling with getting their words out. Wouldn't be suprised if it's from early signs of being punch drunk the amount of punishment all those fighters (barring parker) have absorbed in such a short period, by using their heads to block punches.

I didn't see many signs in that fight that Whyte is a serious threat to Joshua. That's the bottom line for me. A game awkward opponent but limited also.

    Fun fact.

In the heavyweight division the top 2 biggest draws are now,

    1. AJ
    2. Whyte

I would like to see a rematch too because it was a good fight but I think Dillian won it by at least 3 points.

Retirement might be a bit of an overreaction, but if Parker is going to go around losing in disinterested fashion he might as well retire. Throughout those middle rounds he showed zero urgency which cost the fight in the end.
