Roy <<< proven steroid cheat and was clearly juicing all throughout his prime
    Dariusz
Hill <<< proven steroid cheat and was caught twice
Tarver <<< proven steroid cheat and was caught twice
Toney <<< proven steroid cheat and was caught twice
    Griffin
    Reggie

    Group B:

    Ottke
    Joe
    Reid
    Woodhall
    Branco
    Brewer
    Mitchell

Roid, Tarver, Hill and Toney were all caught for the hard stuff, too.

He went from one division....in this case 160 off the back of 2 losses.

To having 2 years out of the game, to coming back beating a 4-4 guy to then becoming a champion at 175......how is this impressive for the 175 division?

You said that he was spanked and ran out of the division.

If you've really seen those fights, then I don't know why you'd say that.

His win over Guthrie was impressive.

It doesn't matter if he'd lost fights at MW. He was a very good fighter. If he'd have gone to SMW, then along with Joe and Ottke, he'd have been classed as one of the best fighters in the division.

Saying that he couldn't cut it at MW is laughable.

Did you see the Toney fight?

Did you see his skills? He was more talented than most of Joe's opponents.

I think a fight against Joe would have been interesting. I'd have favoured Joe though. But there's no reason why he couldn't have picked a belt up at SMW had he have fought there. Reid, Ottke, Brewer and Nardiello etc, all held a title at one stage.

More talented than Joes opponents yet couldn't beat Castro who as tough as he was wasn't exactly what you'd call a skilled fighter.....more talented than Joes opponents yet didn't go to 168 he jumped straight to 175.....

Woods was more talented yet lost to a former JC victim.

Rochigiani was more talented yet lost to a former JC victim.

Johnson wad more talented yet lost to a former JC victim.

Tarver was more talented yet list to a JC victim.

    There's a link here.

Why do you keep obsessing about the Castro fights?

You keep telling me that you saw them. If that was really true, you wouldn't keep highlighting the fact that he couldn't beat him.

Many people believe that he did beat him.

Again, did you see the Toney fight?

Did you see the Collins fight? I'm assuming that you rate Collins, seeing as though he became a SMW champ.

Yes, Reggie bypassed SMW and went straight to LHW. And that's because the division was BETTER, not because he didn't fancy his chances. Ottke and Joe were relatively unknown fighters in a division along with Reid and Woodhall etc. Instead, Reggie chose the division with Roy Jones and Virgil Hill etc.

Why don't you list me all of the guys who Joe fought from that period who were better than Reggie. Let's see the list.

    Woods wasn't more talented.

What point are you trying to make regarding Joe? He had 44 fights at SMW, so of course he's going to be in some way linked to the guys we've listed.

I'm enjoying the debate, but I lost all respect for your opinion when you said that Reggie got spanked at MW and he couldn't cut it. It was an absurd thing to say.

Hey, you keep responding to me with absolute horse manure.

If you want to end the debate, then fine.

Stop with all of the fantasy BS.

Come back to me when you have something of relevance to say.

Each post you make is weaker than your previous one.

I have given you an abundance of information.

What have you given me in return?

    Nothing.

    "Reggie was spanked"

"He couldn't cut it at MW"

"He was ran out of the division"

    "Glen Johnson......"

I've answered all of your questions, yet when I press you you tell me to go away.

You're out of your depth mate.

There's more than a few nuts on here, but I don't know many who'd rate the late 90's SMW division over the LHW one.

    Ha!

Yeah, I'm the one that's insane. Says the guy who thinks that a controversial split constitutes as someone being spanked.

    I despair.

To be entirely fair I think you should really have put Beyer in Group B instead of Branco, if the purpose is comparing the strenght of the two division.

Beyer was a much more accomplished and consistant threat in the division than Branco. He held the WBC Super Middleweight Belt three times and had a total of ten successful defenses to his name whereas Branco never managed to win one of the big four belts in the division.
