During the build up to the Whyte Vs Parker fight in the “gloves are off” Whyte called Parker a coward and said he just quits in reference to his lack of trying against AJ Was Parker’s cowardice even more evident tonight? I mean it seems like e didn’t try barring the 12th and even after the knock down he was more interested in mounting his opponent like a rhino in heat than finishing the job. I don’t think Parker should retire but it does seem clear where his level is and it’s not in the top 10 that’s for sure
He didn't look all that cowardly when he was seconds from KOing Whyte's big fat sloppy ass in the 12th. You know what I think is cowardice? Fighting like a dirty b****, when you can't outbox your opponent, which Whyte did the whole fight.
Pinning somebody against the ropes and not letting up when the ref is trying to pull you apart is pretty cowardly IMO.
i knew Parker, hero of the red faction, would do it. Hes the man, my fav HW (ex)titlist. I always back my man even when he loses.
During the fight, I was thinking about Dillians pre fight comments coming into fruition when I thought it would have an opposite effect. Parker once again fought scared and you would have expected him to have some fire in his belly after being called a coward. He redeemed himself somewhat towards the end of the fight, but overall he let the fight slip from him through his poor workrate and lack of desire to get stuck in. He could have easily won. Parker and Price are two heavyweights that have a lot of talent but lack of confidence and fighting to their opponent's strengths rather than their own - stifles them from being better than they should be.
Anyway he isn’t a coward,he just has an awful gas tank, and doesn’t deal with pressure well when tired.
Parker is just like Wilder will be in a year or so. He became a world champion, was labelled one of the big boys but still had not fought the best the division had to offer, sooner or later that had to happen, turns out he isnt as good as people thought and he has now lost his belt and now hes stepped up again he has lost again. Hes not a coward hes just not as good as some people thought he was.
So Tyson Fury should have a loss on his record with a disqualification against Cunningham? Well he did foul him when he Ko'd him, yeah? It's a fight you bunch of pansies it's not always going to be pretty. Parker got bullied against Whyte, wether it was due to his gas tank or heart I don't know. That's all part of boxing, its not just technique.
yeah your right, he fought like a ***** again just being honest. i dont like calling fighters cowards but parker really is it was a disgrace.
