Excellent weekend of heavyweight fights/action, big props to Chisora for not only the fight but the KO.

My main question is this....where has this win placed him in today's mismatch heavyweight landscape?

Chisora was beaten by Vitali, KTFO by Haye, got jobbed in a fight with Whyte which he should have got the decision and now has knocked Takam TFO something AJ never looked like doing.

Throw into the mix Whyte beating Parker.....Chisora got robbed against Whyte (and Whyte don't want to go there again), honest question has Del Boy possibly cracked the top 10?

His rating went down after the Tyson fights but his standing went up...takes on all comers...just not very well lol. HAving said that he has done what Joshua could not do , the ref had to save Joshua by stopping it for no real reason in his favour as Takam was fine. Well done Dereck.

In his prime (2011-2014) I rated him as a top 10 heavyweight, he was underrated in his prime, but he's always been inconsistent to some degree after the 2nd loss to Fury. The Fury losses with hindsight were not as bad as some thought as Fury was clearly far better than most thought at the time as the Wlad win proved later on.

Currently he's a gate keeper/Fringe contender after the Takam win and the close fight with Whyte. I wouldn't have him in the top 10, probably just outside it. He's a fighter you don't want to stand toe to toe with or get into a brawl with but he can be out boxed, any of the good boxers in the top 10 would out point him. But he'd be dangerous for anyone like Miller, Kownacki, Ruiz Jr who'd stand in front of him.

Of course he's in the top ten. Heavyweight just isn't that deep.

A lot guys out there with good rankings he would beat. His problem has always been motivation and hardly training. Would 100% fancy him to beat breazele who has a great ranking ATM

You just never know what you are guna get with DelBoy Chisora, he is so unpredictable inside and outside of the ring. You never know where his head is at and you never know how much he is giving in training or in a fight, you watch him struggle in training, you watch him get a bit of a pounding in sparring. Then somebody like Vitali Klitchko has a rough night with him, Takam gets knocked out or Chisora just goes into a shell and looks past retirement.

    Delbody is ferrel.

I would put him in the top 10, it doesn't mean much though. The division isn't as stacked as some people like to make out. He's very unpredictable. I scored every round for Takam prior to him getting KO'd. I guess that fight will get Chisora more opportunities, he is still a challenge for ANYBODY.

I'd like to see Whyte v Chisora 2.....or even get Parker for Chisora.

Something tells me neither of those two would fancy it tbh.

I think I have never seen him as happy as he was last night, one more big push for a world title?

if Aj vs Wilder doesnt come through after the Pov fight then Chisora could put up a good challenge to Wilder. Deontay is scared of losing to Whyte but maybe he thinks he can take Chisora and gives him the shot. Good fight, would like to see it and would set up the big unification even more.

Takam was the perfect opponent to make him look good. Short come forward plodder, with not alot of power. Chisora himself was the same, his lack of height and non existent jab, made him easy to outjabbed by the likes of Fury, and Vitali. The fight against Haye, he was probably 10 pounds overweight aswell. He was solid top 10, but the bronze bomber would have left him a crumpled heap with his devastating power. lol.

The fringe contenders of today like Takam and Chisora are probably better than the top 10 ranked guys during the post Lewis era. Hell , they are even better than some top 5 rankers like Sam Peters.
Dell boy would have handled Peters like he did Takam. No debate there.
Look what Helienus did to Peters , and shorty after Dell Boy batted Helenius from pillar to post. :sisi1
