    Each to their own

When you rate Ortiz, go back to Brown who was also undefeated, had a bigger KO %, was younger, bigger and had a better win than any of Ortiz with his win over Chagaev as well as being a former title holder and being able to win on the road.

I read what you wrote about Brown but didnt think Ortiz had looked great in his fights before Wilder against Allen and SCOTT and he hadnt been masively active either with only one fight in a year

No way is he ahead of Wilder, or Povetkin.

Did anyone rank Parker ahead of Ortiz?

Seriously, that's beyond ridiculous. These aren't P4P ratings.

I take the view that all of Usyk's fights have been at heavyweight.

When the "cruiserweight" division was first introduced, it was known as "junior heavyweight".

To me it still is. It's true value as a weight division is prepping guys to challenge for the heavyweight championship of the world.

Usyk was the Olympic heavyweight champion, beat big heavies like Joe Joyce & Junior Fa post winning his Olympic gold medal & is ready to challenge for the heavyweight championship of the world right now.

If others don't think so, that's fine.

    I do & that's why I've ranked him where I have.

It's madness. How can you rate a guy who may not even move up! Haha

Let's not rank the undefeated Olympic heavyweight gold medalist who has beaten big heavies like Joe Joyce & Junior Fa since winning his Olympic gold medal & who would easily beat most of the consensus top 10 heavies right now.

    Makes sense.

You can try to re-write history all you want, but the reality is that this guy hasn't had a single fight at the HW level as we currently define it, and therefore should not be ranked at that weight.

Wilder ducked Whyte so he needs to be ranked BELOW Whyte. That's just common sense.

What weight was he fighting at when he won his Olympic gold medal & boxed the ears off Joe Joyce & Junior Fa?

Amateur records have zero relevance to professional ratings. Rating a fighter in the pros at a weight he has never fought at is simply not justified under any circumstance.

What did Floyd Patterson weigh when he was heavyweight champion?

Should we be erasing his heavyweight lineage from the record books, Professor?

    Translation:

Look guys, Whyte got a huge gift decision and had a biased ref and judges that I'm going to totally ignore and pretend like he deserved because I want him to rematch AJ soooo badly, because I'm truly, genuinely and absolutely scared shitless at the prospect of seeing our national hero, icon and reason for being get decapitated by big bad scary windmiller Wilder.

Don't look at the man behind the curtain, this isn't a terrible attempt at sleight of hand, I swear.:deal:

Are we talking about a paid fight on the ten point must system without headgear? Is that the kind of am fight we’re discussing?
