Why isn’t Team Parker complaining about the headbutt KD?

Seen interviews from Parker and Higgins not one mention of the headbutt KD which as the scores showed was genuinely game changing. At the post fight presser Parker just said that the headbutt surprised him and Barry just said that he thought it affected Parker up until round 5. That was a Parker round which ended up 8-10 for Whyte. Yet none of them are screaming about it.

Big Mick Hennessy and Big Peter Fury wouldn’t stand for that nonsense, they’d be filing complaints.

Parker needs to link up with Peter Fury. Ditch Barry and Higgins too.

    I agree.

And his team, if they were looking out for his best interests, should never have agreed to having the dodgy Ian John-Lewis work the fight.

Because they know Parker purposely head butted Joshua in round 3 and it came with a huge left hook followed by it ....of course which did nothing! Lol

one cannot complain if one does the exact thing he's complaining about, I don't even think the head butt was intentional bc both heads were down...it's boxing not golf!

Nothing wrong with being nice and respectful but Parker just goes over the top.

The point isn’t whether it was intentional or not ffs.

The point is it was a clear headbutt to everyone in the RBR yet IJL scored it a KD and Parker lost a round which he was winning 10-8. It literally cost him the fight. Ref incompetence cost him the fight but his pathetic promoter and creepy trainer are not complaining about it.

I've always felt that Ian John Lewis was just incompetent but you may well be right. Hard to get a ref on the up and up these days.

Should at least call for a rematch. It was a fan friendly fight.

I didn't see the fight but if the headbutt was as bad as reported Parker was probably momentarily disoriented and stunned. Definitely concussed. Vision tunneled, hearing one loud freight train and motor control in lower gear. He may have not had the wherewithal to even communicate with a referee while he's counting you out. Hell, I don't think he knew where his was for a minute or so. And by that time he's got bigger problems to deal with.

However, Team Parker, probably a kumbaya group think clap-trap concept, should've been screaming at the ref about the missed call.

It would still have been a loss, but via SD not UD.
It was a 50-50 fight going in and a 50-50 fight once it finished.
I think Whytes body work was a bit unseen by a lot of fans, but i won´t argue 7-5 for Parker.

    They should rematch.

We all love a humble go-getter no complaining or excuses kind of guy... but Mr Parker takes it to another level.
