Who said you have to accept it. Nobody is forcing you to buy PPV events you are not happy about.

 

Not saying they are but i can still complain at having to pay for average fights on ppv

If you don't think it's worth a shilling don't buy it, it's really that simple

The complaints are because existing Sky Sports and BT Sports subscribers should not be charged extra for PPV Boxing as the monthly subscription is for multi sports incuding Chris Eubank Snr's Boxthing.

No problem with non subscribers being charged PPV

These subscriptions do include boxing. What they don't do is tell you that there will be no ppv and you can use expect to see every fight on Sky sports.

If one feels they don't get enough quality boxing with there sky sports subscription then one can easily cancel it.

The consumer has a choice.

 

Agreed. If you have SKy Sports already cards like this should be free with subscription. I don't have Sky Sports and would be happy to pay for PPV.

Secondly, I think Hearn has caused a lot of the hate on himself because of the poor quality of His Saturday fight night shows and lack of them this year. Off the top of my head I can think of British Beef, Brook, Khan, Whyte Brown (decent). Has there been anymore? I think the minimum sky subscribers should expect is once a month along with a next gen once a month. The Saturday fight nights need to be of a decent level though. Not a glorified next gen, 2 returns of past their best Brook/Khans against nobodies. Just remembered the Newcastle show whilst typing too.

 

I don't get the it was a good night of boxing so PPV worthy, good fights don't mean PPV, two aren't mutually exclusive.

 

Well obviously the fighters do through gate, tickets, international tv rights, however this is miniscule compared to PPV Events

 

That's not the point we are trying to make though. Point was this card disnt NEED to be ppv

I enjoyed show. Some good solid action. PPV delivered. I will call out a weak show but this was entertaining. Chisora KO was a super finish. Few beers and pizza. Top night.
