I think it would be more accurate to say that Chisora and Parker both did something Joshua DIDN'T do, not couldn't. Playing devils advocate you can say Joshua did something both guys couldn't, which was patiently box them to an easy win without taking ANY punishment in the process. Remember, boxing isn't about who can take the most damage (plenty of examples of boxers who suffered the effects after their careers were over), it's about hitting and not being hit.

I think Joshua will now only go to war when faced with an opponent who gives him no other choice, in which case he's already shown a decent chin, decent recovery powers and a strong will to win regardless of damage he may suffer. I don't think anyone with a clue can really say otherwise, he's beaten every man put in front of him, some more impressive than others sure.

Just man up and admit you hate him, will never give him credit and will only ever look to find fault in his performances and badly want to see him lose.

i don't rate AJ particularly highly, i don't think he's that good, but he is the best of a bad bunch, he's fought most of the Ring top 10 already and is continuing to do so. Can't not give him credit for that. Chisora landing a punch high on the head after being battered for 8 rounds isn't as bad for AJ as you make it out

    Takam vs Joshua - 16st 11

    Takam vs Chisora - 17st 8

There goes the myth that Takam wasn't prepared and hadn't had a camp.

Light against Joshua is the right choice.....
Heavy against Chisora is the right choice.....

As i've already stated, Takam was meant to be on Hearn's card the week after and was obviously pulled out which meant we got an unprepared Chisora against Kabayel.

As for Kevin Barry, he was commenting on the opponent his boy Parker was going to face.

    What did you expect?

"Oh I thought Anthony Joshua was impressive against Takam. He's the only man Takam has ever lost every single round.....He beat Takam far more impressively than my boy Parker did"........

    Never gonna happen.

I agree that Takam was stopped early against Joshua.....

But Joshua UD'd Takam for 10 rounds, and Parker for 12.

Before the fight I expected Jenner to completely and utterly blast Takam out within 3 rounds. I actually posted that I felt sorry for Takam as I believed he was in for a severe beat down due to lack of preparation and the obvious physical limitations.

To my surprise he took Joshua into the deep end, nearly causing him to completely gas, no doubt giving him flash backs to the wlad fight. That wasn't what was meant to happen at all.

Besides if you are determined to believe Takam was this monster, then pray tell me why Joshua never managed to put a dent in Parker, who was almost completely wiped out by Dillian Whyte?

12 round UD is a more dominant victory that losing rounds and getting a KO.

Parker lost 5 rounds against Takam.
    Chisora lost all 7.
    Joshua lost 0.....

Parker lost at least 7 rounds on my card against Whyte.
Chisora lost 6 on my card against Whyte.
    Joshua lost 1.....

    This sport is called Boxing.
Joshua is the Number 1 Boxer in the HW division.

All these fighters are shithouses and were shithouses prior to them fighting.

I don't think AJ's resume takes a hit for two reasons. His fans will never give a **** what happens as long as Joshua wins. On the other side we were never impressed by Takam, Chisora, Whyte, or Parker so who gives a **** which **** sandwich is least shitty?

Takam and Chisora don't much win meaningful fights. Get two guys who never win an important fight against a name you recognize and jango finally one of them wins a fight worth winning. Does not make him any better than he was, does not make the loser any worse. Takam can go on losing high profile fights some more. Chisora's still in the same boat too. You're still going to favor a man with good wins over a guy who always loses when he fights anyone of worth.

Parker just ran out of gifts. People keep saying Josh is a manufactured champion...I talk a lot of **** about Josh but of the two of them it's Parker who is a counterfeit. Didn't beat anyone worth a damn decisively, and had to give an excuse for every championship fight he's ever been in regardless of if he wins or not.

Whyte is the new Povetkin. Hides from high level competition when they're fired up and on the rise and takes on high profile fighters after they're on their way out. Helenius in 2017, Browne in 2018, now Parker. If Whyte fought these guys before they looked **** they'd be good wins, but waited until they proved they were shitcans before he'd fight them.

Of all of them I think Whyte is the best performer and has the best resume and probably should be in title contention again. If Dillian Whyte had nothing to do with Eddie Hearn he'd have more fans. It's not him y'all don't like...well most of yas. He is a bit of a protected shithouse but he's less shithousey than most. Chisora deserves nothing, Takam even less, Parker's had more opportunities than he's ever earned and Whyte makes fights against guys a bit past their sell-by. I like Whyte out of those four. He really should fight Ortiz. Ortiz might be on the slide, might be Whyte's kind of timing. If Whyte whooped Ortiz that'd be massive for him. Too bad Whyte's a *****.

Eddie has had Takam on tap since before Joshua fought Martin. Doesn't change anything I just reckon it's interesting how far back that relationship goes.
