I hope this is true, although if it is I think it is a little premature on the part of Fury, whose last bout revealed that he is still currently a long way from his best. That said, I still fancy Fury to outbox Wilder over Joshua.

Don't believe it and even if it's true and they are negotiating I think they are being disingenuous.

Fury is fighting Pianeta in about 3 weeks time, just a coincidence he's announced this now when it would bring much needed attention for his next fight? You have to be very naive to think he's doing anything but promoting the Pianeta fight by throwing his name about with Wilder's.

Fury wilder makes more money than
Wilder vs Whyte easy. And the trash talk would be epic

And this is why it's not happening plus Showtime is not putting 2 PPVs so close to each other.

They are already working on Garcia - Spence for the end of the year.

Fighting in the uk insures him against adalaidebyrditis. It also enables him to maintain and grow long lasting commercial partnerships which will continue contributing large sums to his income long after his boxing career is over. Commercially it's a no brainier, but unfortunately a lot of fans who don't understand how AJ's career is being managed can't look beyond headline figures.

This is two camps working together to talk about a fight which is not going to happen. Each side benefits from the media exposure at no cost. It helps to maintain the idea that Fury is relevant and that Wilder is actively seeking the best fights that he can get. This could give wilder some additional leverage in talks with Hearn and Fury additional time to complete his four match BT bum beating contract without appearing completely out of the elite picture. Everyone's a winner.

At a certain point there will be a complication of one kind or another which stops this being actually signed, but this will take place in such a way that neither side is at fault and they will agree to revisit further down the line.

If that fight happens it will be bt sport ppv and fury vs wilder will make money than a fight against Whyte, plus it will look a lot better on wilders resume if he wins than beating Whyte.

Beating current fury means very little. Although obviously wilder fans would say it makes him better than prime wlad

Yeah when looked at deeply, but on paper it still means something especially to casuals an undefeated fighter who is a former champion, there’s been plenty of examples of boxers who have taken a fight just to improve there resume.

Plus it would greatly improve his negotiating power in an aj fight.

He's talking absolute BS as usual. Joshua is 100 times a bigger money fight for Wilder, why would he take Fury.

Fury struggled to even to sell the Wladimir rematch in Manchester. Granted Fury popularity has increased since the feigning of injury and drug abuse.Whyte still is the bigger draw at the moment as proven with the with Parker fight.

Plus its unlikely Frank will match what Eddie is offering Wilder to fight Whyte.
