By your logic Lennox Lewis must of been featherfisted since he couldn't dent Ossie Ocasio.. hell Lewis couldn't even Knock out Levi Billups who was knocked out 10 times including by what must be a monster puncher Mike White with his 48% ko percentage. God your logic is embarrassing.

    Also beltline my ass.

Garcia beats Lomachenko. This is the reason why Arum doesn't want to make the fight..

Hold on there buddy! Loma sack suckers are the ones that started making comparisons to, not just Mayweather but, all the greats in and around 135. Saying Loma is the greatest of all times after only 6-7 fights. How Loma's resume after only 10 fights is better than Mayweather's and so on. So when people compare Mayweather to Loma don't get upset, Loma fans were among the first to do so.

It's not my logic. Linares is a good athlete with good boxing skills, but has always lacked both punching power and durability, which is why any decent fighter with power and a chin will always beat him.

    Linares vs. DeMarco

If Linares even had average power he would've been able to at least get DeMarco's respect, but he couldn't. DeMarco walked through every punch Linares threw before giving Linares a one sided beating.

    Linares vs. Thompson

Just like in the DeMarco fight Linares does his best to keep Thompson away, but his lack of power results in Thompson walking through every punch Linares threw and Linares getting quickly stopped.

    Valero vs. DeMarco

Valero beating DeMarco into submission even after facing a cut from an elbow.

    Broner vs. DeMarco

Broner easily beating DeMarco into submission.

I don’t know what the odds actually were, I was basing it off the impression I got from boxing forums.
Mikey is average, I’ve been saying it for a long time. Back when Gamboa was doing his thing and that fight was mentioned I always picked Gamboa to show everyone how limited Garcia is.
There is no way Garcia belongs anywhere near a pound for pound list, his best win is still his quit job against Salido. Moving up to fight some bums and Broner doesn’t put you in a pound for pound list. If Garcia didn’t duck Linares he could’ve had a real name and achievement on his resume.
That’s if he could’ve beaten Linares, I honestly would have favoured Linares.
Stylistically Garcia is bread and butter for Lomachenko, Linares stylistically was absolutely the harder fight for Lomachenko. I said that before the Linares fight and I predicted him to have some trouble with Linares. Garcia provides nothing to overcome, that is an easy win for Loma.
If the fight ever happens you’ll see. I don’t expect it to when Garcia is in the right division and calls out someone two divisions away.
But hey, I’ll give Garcia credit for stepping in with Spence if it happens (even though it’s clearly a lower risk fight than Loma) and if he doesn’t get blown away maybe I’ll have to re-evaluate my longheld opinion of him.

you are definitely top 3 chitiest poster on esb. not an iota of knowledge in your posts, just jumping from nuthugging to hating and back again, depending on what is threatening loma at the time.

Here's one going down face first like they've been shot in the face at point blank range. With 16oz gloves on lol

'Crolla believes September's fight turned in the sixth round after one of the hardest punches he has received.

Defending the WBA title he claimed in 2015, he was beaten for the fifth time in his 39-fight career.

If Crolla avenges the defeat, he will also claim the Ring Magazine title, becoming the first English lightweight to do so.

"He's (Linares) a sharp counter-puncher with power in either hand, so I've got to fight using my head and not just my heart," added Crolla.

    Rocky Juarez: Best I've Faced

Juarez shared a ring with the likes of JMM, MAB x 2, Chris John x 2, Humberto Sosa, Zahir Raheem, Guty Espadas Jr,

    BEST JAB
    Jorge Linares:
It would be between Linares and Barrera. Linares could throw two, three jabs at once. He had better movement than Barrera. He could throw the jab on a dime. Barrera’s jab was sneaky, a long jab. I was pretty good at knowing an opponent’s jab and Barrera just happened to have a longer reach than I expected. I’d have to say Linares. He had better speed with the jab. It was a range finder; a set up punch.

    BEST DEFENSE
    Linares:
He just moved. He knew how to get out and get himself out of harm’s way. On the inside, he knew how to smother my shots and how to get out; knowing when to retreat at the perfect time.

    FASTEST HANDS
    Zahir Raheem:
It would be between Zahir and Linares. That’s all (Raheem) had was his speed. Punching power wasn’t that effective. His jab was his strongest shot.

    FASTEST FEET
    Linares:
He just knew how to keep distance. One of the reasons I’m picking Linares is because he’s probably the only guy that beat me where I knew I lost with no question. I just couldn’t catch him. I couldn’t find my distance. I just couldn’t land my shots flush like I wanted to.

    BOXING SKILLS
    Linares:
I think Linares being a bit taller than (Barrera and Marquez). He could throw the double jab, he had good feet, he was an overall rounded fighter: good speed, good movement, good power. He dropped me in the fifth round[/QUOTE]

You can see for yourself if you go back through my posts that this isn’t true. You can see my views on Garcia long before Lomachenko was in the picture. I know what I know.

Linares is Loma’s best win IMO. I expected a lot of trouble and a far tougher fight than if Garcia was the opponent. The fight was easier for Lomachenko than I expected (still not easy). To see Loma go down, stay focused and apply his skills before finishing a much larger guy, who is athletic and one of the best combination punchers in the sport; was an ATG performance. I truly believe that Linares would’ve beaten Garcia if Garcia accepted that fight.

Just like most people with mental issues, instead of ignoring the tehm or admitting a problem you doble down with the autism.

Do any of these "durable pressure fighters" or"skilled punchers" Loma has avoided since the Salido fight actually have anmes or do they merely exist in the vacant recesses between your ears?

precisely, garcia is a 4 division titlist and just unified in lomas weight, and he is targeting a fight the whole world is saying is a terrible idea for him in a 5th division. if he were to somehow beat spence in december, he would have won titles in 5 weight divisions in a span of 10 fights. yet guys like you who know jack about boxing, call this guy mediocre because some people feel he would beat loma, and that get your panties wound up. tell me, what other fighter is taking on the work mikey is taking, while still making everyone look like they cant compete?
i dont care who people like or dislike, i just dont like people using bullchit reasons for not liking someone, and trying to pass those reasons off as legit.

Mikey is losing rounds against complete bums, has fought no one. The fact that guys like Garcia and Broner can call themselves multiple weight champs while being mediocre shows what is wrong with boxing. Then you get unintelligent, illiterate people like you who think it means something, and think a 0 is something special.

No offense and this isnt directed so much at you as it is the comment itself but this the absolute dumbest description of a fighter a person can make. Its a "no sht sherlock" comment. It can literally be said about any fighter in history. In any sport ever. Im sure the same was said about the best of the gladiators back in Rome lol!
