The fight is either agreed or it's not. 99% is meaningless. There's still ample opportunity for either camp to withdraw citing an unfortunate snag which couldn't be helped. I wonder how ticket sales have been going for Windor Park on the 18th? These headlines about a possible fury wilder fight can't have hurt them. After all, if he's confident enough to be taking on Wilder next then he must be in great shape for the pianeta fight and eager to put on a master class.
Wilder over at the scene confirming talks are going well. I can't understand the rush from Fury?? didn't he sign a very big deal £££ with Warren for four fights fighting basically bum after bum to ease himself back in ? He must be getting paid 20 million plus would you say for him to even think about Wilder for the end of the year ? He is 18 months away from this level and this could also jeopardise a future Joshua fight which is probably worth maybe 30 million plus!
Amazing how different the AJ/Wilder and Fury/Wilder negotiations are. With AJ it's all on twitter, emails from the fighter with 24 hr take it or leave it 50 mill offers, agreeing terms then reneging on them, every details leaked to the media so we can scruntinise it. But with Fury it's all done on the quiet, these two most vocal of fighters, two of the biggest trash talkers suddenly have gotten a personality change and doing things very low key.
Fury will take the fight. He is head and shoulders above any other heavyweight - even at less than his best.
