As a Ward fan I don't see why this fight is even being taken seriously. Ward is very good at what he does. What he does won't work against Usyk. Usyk is gigantic compared to Ward, Usyk is extremely mobile and has a boxing IQ and skillset that is comparable to Ward. Ward would only have a speed advantage but Ward also only throws a couple shots at a time so throwing in combination isn't gonna happen. Usyk's work off the jab and being able to muscle Ward on the inside (and he will) means to me Ward has almost no chance. Great big guy beats great little guy. Usyk and Beterbiev are the two fighters I'd want Ward to avoid at all costs if he's trying to play with a comeback
His stamina is suspect!? **** sake. Anyway, with regards to OP, I back Usyk. Size and activity matter. Ward was super strong at SMW, very crafty and able to impose his physical game. I thought he lost to Kova first time around and was actually being out jabbed plenty. Usyk is even bigger and better than Kovalev, and with the time out the ring Ward wouldn't have gotten any better. I don't see that as a slight on Ward at all, mind you.
If there was a leper colony for morons Jackomano would be the king of it. You're dealing with someone who thinks fighters with savage KO power can't punch, fighters with granite chins can't take a punch, fighters with exceptional stamina have problems with their gas tanks. Hey, check out this video of one of the most hideously ugly woman you'll ever see This content is protected Hunter also faced the great Roberto Cammerelle in the amateurs who could bang hard and former #1 ranked SHW in the world Islam Timurziev (RIP) who was a brute of a man and wielded huge power, who like Fury and Alfonso were both naturally much bigger than him, and wasn't stopped.
Usyk is the complete antithesis of that deck-stacking, serial cheating, loaded dice rolling, faux Christian worthless subhuman coward from Oakland, both in and out of the ring.
Gassiev and Breidis hurt him quick, he would never take it, and Usyk stops him before 8 imo..Didn't he say he was putting on weight then making an announcement soon a while back ??? Like meaning he was tackling one of these or the winner of the tournament ?
I think Ward's a good weight traveler, has respectable power, superb ring IQ and inside skills, excellent stamina, solid chin and high intensity, so I wouldn't expect him to be thrown around by a rag doll or outworked easily. Usyk is also special, and yes, would have some sort of physical advantage, but far less pronounced than most of you guys think, Ward could carry the extra weight just well. And it's not like Usyk's a KO puncher with concussive blows. This fight would be 75% skill and 25% muscle, and a big question mark what happens if Ward can take Usyk to the inside. Excellent fight, too bad Andre isn't 2 or 3 fights into the CW division, would decide who's P4P the best today in boxing.
A gold medallist & prime unified CW kingpin, probably outweighs him by at least 30lbs & has a 4 inch height advantage.. These ****ers are crazy! Did you see Wards face after the moving in straight lines flat footed LHW Barrera had finished with him? Imagine what Usyk would to do to an ever more ponder some bulked up Ward? Ward has Kovalev problems anyway.. People acting like Ward is untouchable LOL Guy had to clinch SMWs to keep em off him..
You can make fun of it all you want but you know it's a legit point. They should be gene testing uysk, we have no idea what kind of cheating is going on
Same with Ward taking time off to cycle his steroids......also the hone town officiating he always has.....also why he was the only one in the super 6 who didn't have to travel.
