Good light heavyweight doubleheader, plus boxing is finally returing in Atlantic City. :chuck:

I am not impressed by Alvarez tbh. Expect a clear victory for Kovalev.
Bivol vs Chilemba should be a pretty one-sided fight. Maybe Chilemba can go the distance but i doubt it.
At least they'll fight at the east coast so i do not have to stay awake the whole ****ing night to watch this but i am still not sure if i will do, it doesn't tempt me a lot.

Looking forward to it. Seems Kovalev drifted off into obscurity after the Ward fights, nobody really talks about him anymore.

After this Kov and Bivol need to face each other or mix it up with Badou Jack and Marcus Browne

I think Bivol vs Chilemba will be the fight of the night and Bivol will stop him.

Kovalev vs Alvarez will be quite onesided, because I believe Alverez is at the same level as Chilemba (hence their could go either way fight), but doesn't have the same huge punch resistance.

It wouldn't shock me in the least if Kovalev KO'd Alvarez in a round or two, Pascal and Prieto both rocked him to his core and early.

Actually, it's very hard to stop Chilemba. In fact, only one of his professional career losses were not by decision — retired in the Gvozdyk fight, and even then he claimed that his hand was broken.

I also doubt, to be fair, that Kovalev will be able to stop Alvarez.

I know... I believe Bivol will pull it off though. And I actually favor current Bivol by stoppage over current Kova.
Then that means we are in disagreement.

Kovalev v Bivol is building nicely.. Let's hope they both get the job done.

Does the notion of seeing Bivol not entice you?

Even if Bivol weren't one of my favourite fighters it's still a double header pitting four top ten fighters in one of the sports best divisions. The Russians may be considerable favourites in both fights but it also sets up an excellent unification between the two. I'm definitely staying up to watch this.

Yeah his fans turned their backs on him after his 2 losses to Ward. It's pathetic.

I wouldn't be surprised, he's been hurt before, and he's been outboxed too. I think he would lose to Stevenson, Bivol, Kovalev and Gvozdyk. Maybe against Barrera too.

Well consider there is not much to talk about anyway, since he fought Ward he had 2 fight against c and b opposition in Shabranskyy and Mikhalkin. Mikhalkin as a good amateur resume but that's it.
