Likewise he was ready to fight AJ yet AJ didn't want the fight Fury went to Wlad's backyard, when he he could easily have taken another route to becoming champion. Both fury and Wilder are far more credible fighters who don't sabotage negotiations to get out of a fight or beg sanctioning bodies to remove mandatories.

Hearn could have offered Wilder umteen different contracts that would have sealed the deal within a matter of weeks. But he's still holding firm on the flat fee offer he issued last year since he knows Wilder and Shelly Einhorn won't ever accept a flat fee offer. I don't believe Fury will face Wilder after Pianeta , this looks like a stunt created to show how easily Joshua could have fought Wilder if he really wanted to.
Fury is way more skilled than Donkey. Granted that's not exactly saying much considering the later is sorely lacking in that department. However, even if he can manage to get back to 70-80% of what he once was, and that's a very big if given what he's put his body through during the last 3 years, he needs warm up fights against much higher quality opposition than the likes of Seferi and a shot to bits Pianeta who was widely considered one of Wlad's very worst title challengers back when the Italian was in his prime before he steps in against any of the elite fighters in the division. There's absolutely no need for him to rush into a title fight yet. He's bipolar and his battles with his personal demons are well documented. He needs to give himself the best shot of winning and he's doing the complete opposite by rushing into a title shot and I genuinely fear for his mental well being if things go pear shaped again and the chances of them doing so are high if he insists on going down this route. Hope the fight gets made but have doubts it will happen. Wilder cannot sell out arenas in his hometown. Fury has been inactive and the Wlad fight was a while ago, so is Fury known in America, not so sure. Fury hasn't done 12 rounds or even close. So a fight in December, in Vegas, seems to be unrealistic. I hope it happens.
Even though I think it's way too soon for Fury to be facing any of the elite yet, I don't doubt it's going to happen in December as gypsy man knows not lie of how to speaketh with forked tongue.
